2003 update on Xuan Kong Flying Stars
Written by Michael
Hanna & Sallie Tsui Sien At the beginning of the year Josephine wrote her forecast
for the year and said “April will be the worst month for 2003”, me and I am
sure millions of other people will agree with her and be glad April is over, not
a good month for everyone especially for Dogs, and also bad monthly flying stars
came into my office, I consider myself as being a fairly lucky person (part of
my destiny), this month was an exception and although I knew it would be bad and
I prepared myself, it still hits home hard. Even though my month wasn’t the
best without the below knowledge it would have been disastrous. I can honestly
say though regardless of how bad the month was it was nothing compared to others
around the world and for that I am so thankful. The beauty of Feng Shui is although you can predict bad
months, days, hours and years, as long as you are prepared you can avoid many
problems. This month as an example, I knew I would have a bad month and that it
could involve a car accident or something involving metal, normally I am not a
fast driver but this month I was having push bikes and double Decker buses
overtaking me, I have been driving so slow and cautiously, thankfully I have
avoided a car accident but did not escape completely, I have a new car six
months old, the exhaust valve’s burnt out (big job), apparently this is very
rare for a new car, the good news was though, the day it happened I was on my
way to London for a consultation and although they had burnt out the car still
managed to get me there and back, not a pleasant drive but I was grateful I did
not have to let my clients down. I won’t bore you with my other trivial
problems but the moral of this story is: don’t worry and get paranoid when you
read the below predictions if you are in for a bad month or a certain part of
the house is bad this month, so long as you aware of the problem you can avoid
potential disasters, our
annual cures kit weakens and enhances the yearly visiting stars these are
more important, the monthly stars are more about avoidance although you can use
some cures, read the following advice and you can prepare yourself. Sallie & Michael our resident Xuan Kong (flying star)
and Ba Zi experts have put together some great advice on how to avoid potential
problems. Xuan Kong May 2003 update: Written by Sallie & Michael
I shall explain a little here what Xuan Kong (flying stars)
is in order to benefit our readers who are not familiar with it. The Xuan Kong system addresses the time dimension of Feng
Shui of a given property (home or office). This is an analysis of the
interaction of elements (fire, earth, metal, water and wood) within the
different sectors of the property and how we may enhance the good energies to
give us support or suppress the bad energies by keeping them at bay. Every year
we put together an annual cures kit, which cures and enhances good and bad
stars, these are essential for every home and office. If you were thinking of building a house, this is the time
when we analyse the natal chart (flying star chart as below) to determine the
best locations for all doors and the allocation of important rooms in order to
harness the beneficial distribution of energy. Every property will have good and
bad stars, the secret is placing the good stars in places like an office,
bedroom, lounge or dining room and the bad ones in places like a kitchen,
bathroom, en-suite, cloakroom or utility room.
In Feng Shui terms, the interaction between the energies of
each sector of a Xuan Kong chart above, “the Heavenly Heart of the House” (centre
of home), will affect the well-being of the household. In addition, this interaction is further influenced by the
visitation of the Annual visiting energy that represents the potential
influence, as well as the Monthly visiting energy that acts like a catalyst.
These influences are experienced in varying degrees throughout the month because
of the Daily visiting energy. From May 6th
to June 5th 2003
is the month of the Yin Fire Snake with the ruling energy of #2 Black in the
central grid. The energies present during
the month affect most the sector where the main door, the bedroom/door or the
office are located. Please note that the facing direction of your main door
or house is not necessarily where your main door is located, for more
information on this please follow
this link. What do we do with this information? Remember, in Feng Shui, the more activities (noise & movement) within a sector, the more the energies (good or bad) that exist are activated. Hence the advice:
Hopefully you should have your 2003 annual cures and
enhancers kit in place, if so most of the monthly stars should not need any more
cures (unless recommended to do so by a Practitioner) Besides, this update is to
prepare you for what is possible and to be prepared to take more care or risk in
what you do. The
Beneficial Sectors for the Month of Yin Fire Snake are: South sector is
in favour of scholarly pursuits (good for students) and great promotion
“luck”. There is fame and recognition on the horizon. A good place to have
the three immortals this month. If you have an office or bedroom in the south
this will be very good for fame. !!! Health-wise, if your bedroom is here, heads of family
please be more cautious on the road and be alert during this month. Elderly
members of the family who have a history of heart and blood related illness
should move out of this bedroom as this month the condition might get worse. Southwest sector
has great benefits in finance terms. For those who already have a water feature
outside this sector, you will see gains in financial matters. You may have read
about this in last month’s newsletter if not click here for more details on
your secondary
wealth area. !!! But please be advised that this sector is potentially
harmful to young children under twelve years old. They should move out of this
bedroom or take extra care (as Michael said “be prepared”) in this sector
for the month. East sector
promotes tremendous success in starting a new business, good romance “luck”
and a good time for preparation for students. For romance place Mandarin ducks
or anything loving in pairs in this area as it is moderately good for romance
especially if your Min Gua number is 9 or 3. West sector you can use this area for short term
romances or affairs if your bedroom is here, if your current romance has been
flagging it is also good, so expect some sparks if your bedroom is located in
the west. Be aware though the west can also cause problems with extra martial
relations so be careful what you wish for. Sectors
to be aware of: Northwest sector If you have a main door in this sector of the house, be extra careful on security. If you sleep in a northwest bedroom, be extra careful if your work is labour intensive as there is grave indication of possible limb injury. If you sleep in a northwest bedroom and /or have a
northwest office, do not get entangled in office politics and go through
documents thoroughly before signing anything as possible legal disputes are
indicated. North sector is in conflict with the presence of the Fire element this month so beware of possible fire hazards. A good time to fit extra smoke alarms. If you have an office in the north sector, you may find unscrupulous people acting against you. For couples that are using a north bedroom there may be
problems conceiving. Use another bedroom this month to redress the situation. If
you cannot move bedrooms place some wood like bamboo in the north this month. Northeast sector
is the most afflicted sector visited by the 5 Yellow supported by the 9 annual
star (not a good combination at all). Houses with doors or bedrooms here please
take extra care in what you do. There are indications of accidents, illness and
just bad luck all round. I would highly recommend using another door and
bedroom.
If your house door, bedroom or door is located in this sector, tempers might flare and you might feel stressed, unhappy and dissatisfied which could lead to physical disorders relating to the eye, heart and blood. You can:
Children with a bedroom in this sector, If you are unable to move them to another room, make sure
their beds or work/study tables are not located in the NE sector of the room.
Site them in a beneficial area. Example: If your child is in a bedroom in the NE of the home, get your compass stand in the centre of child’s room and this month I would place the child’s bed in the south of the bedroom as the south is good for study this month.
As you can see from above you can turn a bad situation into
a better one, the child will not only avoid many problems he will benefit from
being in a good area that is good for study. You must try and keep the NE part
of their bedroom quiet so not a good idea to have his music centre in NE of
room. Remember you can apply this to any room in your home so if your office is
in the NE place your desk in the SW this month (make sure your back does not
face SW this year). A good example is my own home, our main door is located in
the north-east and this month we will be avoiding using it, we will also place a
Wu Lou here (6th May) along with a metal Dragon, although we will not
use a wind chime because we have a 6 metal fixed here, these will weaken the
inauspicious star. Obviously you cannot talk to visitors through the letterbox
and tell them to come round the back but if you can avoid using the door as much
as possible it will help. West sector has
an energy that is known to cause marital difficulties, so newlyweds or couples
should avoid using this room for this month unless you like living dangerously
as it can be good for couples but more likely to spark relations with outside
parties, personally I would avoid it as a married person. I know it is easier said than done but moving out of a room
that has temporary inauspicious Ch’i is worth it. This is so especially with
health issues provided you could afford the space and rooms. If you cannot, do
not fret. The effect can be minimised by relocating the bed or study/work/office
table to an auspicious sector (follow example above) of the room or placing
cures as recommended on this site. As I have said before, this is a monthly
influence and so it will pass. You can read what our customers say about our annual cures
kit by clicking
